WW2 aviation art “Victory Over Dunkirk” by Robert Taylor, depicts RAF Wing Commander, Bob Stanford-Tuck, claiming an enemy ME110 during the Battle of France over Dunkirk on May 23rd, 1940. This print has been autographed by RAF Wing Commander Bob Stanford-Tuck.
Wing Commander Robert Roland Stanford-Tuck, DSO, DFC and Two Bars, AFC was a British fighter pilot, flying ace and test pilot for the RAF. He joined the RAF in 1935 and first engaged in combat during the Battle of France over Dunkirk claiming his first of many victories.
This print is beautifully framed and measures 36″x 24″.
